With this building block, children develop or learn:

Singing, listening to music or playing an instrument yourself, dancing or immersing yourself in a fantasy game… Performing arts give children the opportunity to express themselves in a variety of ways. It all stimulates acceptance and makes room for diversity. At Partou you can be who you are. Alle these elements come together in the building block Stage & Expression.

We sing songs with the little ones and play in the dress-up corner. At our out-of-school care we offer music workshops in which we talk about rhythm, rhyming and rapping. We learn to play an instrument and conclude with a performance. Or we dance, perform a play and make a video.

Stimulating language development

Language is much more than talking, reading and writing. It allows you to express yourself, set boundaries and ask questions. Language helps you to be yourself and understand that everyone is different. With language and interaction, you can form relationships. It increases your chances in life. We practice with language by working on expression together. By using imagination, playing a certain role, singing songs and reading aloud.
